This policy covers the Music Mini Games iOS app and the musicminigames.com website.
Music Mini Games does not require an account. We never collect your name, email address, or contact information. The app collects a minimal amount of data, none of which is linked to your identity:
We use this data to:
Data is stored on our own backend, hosted on infrastructure providers (Fly.io for servers, Crunchy Bridge for the database). We may share data with service providers only as needed to operate the service, such as these hosting providers, PostHog for analytics, and Apple for payment processing.
We retain gameplay and purchase data for as long as needed to provide the service. To request deletion of the data associated with your device, email us at the address below and we will remove it.
The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children. Everything is stored under an anonymous identifier.
We use PostHog, a product analytics service, in the app and in the games at musicminigames.com/games, to learn which features get used and where players get stuck. It receives the events described above under your anonymous identifier, plus basic device or browser details such as the operating system and an approximate location derived from your IP address.
In the web games only, PostHog also records sessions: a replay of what appeared on the page and where you clicked or tapped, so we can see where the games are confusing. Anything you type into a text field is masked and never recorded. The iOS app does not record sessions.
Microphone audio from the singing games is never recorded or sent anywhere. Pitch detection happens entirely on your device or in your browser.
The musicminigames.com website also uses Google Analytics to understand site traffic. The iOS app does not use Google Analytics.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and the date below.
